Y is for Yellow

I have always loved the color yellow, so picking that color as my Y word for Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday was a logical choice. Let me show you some really pretty yellow flowers in the garden.


I took the photo below during the blue hour -- such great colors!


Doesn't that flower express the pure joy of living?


Sunflowers have always been one of my favorite flowers.


The yellow of this sunflower has almost the shade of lemons.


Yellow and red -- what a fiery combination.


Isn't that fresh green and deep yellow of a yet unopened sunflower just wonderful?

    So wonderful! I love the top pic. They remind me of black eyed susans. We have those around here somewhere. I was tryin' to get some for my fall decor but couldn't find any. I love your blog header, too.
