Those fabulous Jens and Peggy, too

I am lucky to have two fabulous Jens in my life. One is Jen from Rue and Hyssop whose blog I have followed for some time now, as I simply love how she shares her part of the world. Lately, I was lucky enough to win the Celestial Tarot from her.

The cards are incredibly beautiful. Below you see some of my very favorite motives.

Jen was so kind to include a pretty fall wreath with stars.

It's a wreath which I would have chosen myself -- Jen knows me well.

She also sent a lovely witch ribbon (I am thinking of making a barrette with it) and funky pocket tissues with skulls.

I love the card she included.

Thanks so much for everything, Jen -- I truly love each single item and especially your kind words.

Then there's the other Jen who has a great motto for a better world -- I Believe In Love. Jen Price is an incredible photographer -- I always enjoy visiting her blog for eye candy and yummy recipes.

I was lucky to win two incredible books from her -- the first and second part in G.P. Taylor's The Dopple Ganger Chronicles. I love to read young adult fiction, and these books speak to me on so many levels.

Aren't the covers just great?

In the beginning, you see this map -- great design!

The books have a fantastic mixture of text, black and white illustrations, ...

... and comic book illustrations.

So much inspiration!

The praise on the back sounds promising -- I so look forward to reading these books. Jen, a big thanks for the great books!

Finally, there's Peggy, too! She is a creative (and productive) lady for sure. In the beginning of October, she mentioned having created Halloween cards which she wanted to send to three winners. Seven people (including me) commented, and sweet Peggy was generous enough to declare us all to be winners! She shared an update with the rest of the cards she created. Naturally, I was curious which of the spooky cards would wing its way to me. Here's what I found in mailbox:

Such a detailed bat -- I love the 3 D effect.

Peggy also included a sweet visiting card which made me smile. Thanks and Happy Halloween to you, Peggy -- your wonderful card now has a place of honor in my study.
