Moon & Saguaro

A while ago I mentioned how interesting photos often turn out when you happen to take them during the blue hour. In my bathroom, I have two bath oil bottles with interesting caps -- a moon and a saguaro. A couple of days ago I noticed how beautifully the moon looked at dusk and immediately grabbed my camera.

The only light source was a street lamp.

The saguaro looked also just great -- makes me long for a trip to the American Southwest.

  3. your photos are wonderful. Sometimes all it takes is letting ourselves have that "eye that truly sees".
And if you come to the southwest, I hope you come and see me in NM.

  4. Hello Birgit, it's been a long time between howdies! I'm glad you're doing well, and your photos are gorgeous.

Speaking of saguaros, we are moving to Prescott, AZ by Christmas, and you are most welcome to stay and enjoy the high desert beauty. And of course, it would be wonderful to meet you!
