Happy Halloween

My little Halloween tree.

This year the ghost family has grown by two members -- the green ghost and the purple ghost.

Ed is the best part of my Halloween tree for sure! Pam, once again a BIG thanks for creating him in the first place and then sending him my way.

I have two jack-o-lanterns this year. The one on the right side whom I call Lightning Jack had a little accident before I could carve him. He slipped from my hands and crashed on the floor. That's how he got his misshaped eye. The pumpkins look quite different -- Regular Jack is by far lighter than Lightning Jack while the latter has a more orange glow.

Tombstone and bat -- a perfect combination.

Autumn glory

Last week I had the chance to take a few photos of the colorful autumn trees -- perfect for Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday with its Anything Autumn theme. Even the leaves on the street look pretty.

I love how the leaves light up in the sunshine.

Not quite Colorado, but neat enough.

I love to take walks in the forest during this time of the year.

I wish autumn would last a while longer, but it seems that we will get an early winter in Germany.

The blue sky with the puffy white clouds is the perfect background for the autumn trees.

I especially like the trees with red leaves.

Oh, that beautiful contrast of red and blue!

Moon & Saguaro

A while ago I mentioned how interesting photos often turn out when you happen to take them during the blue hour. In my bathroom, I have two bath oil bottles with interesting caps -- a moon and a saguaro. A couple of days ago I noticed how beautifully the moon looked at dusk and immediately grabbed my camera.

The only light source was a street lamp.

The saguaro looked also just great -- makes me long for a trip to the American Southwest.

Pink Panty

At the Dult (see previous post), I also spotted this hot pink panty. Of course, I had to take a photo for Beverly's Pink Saturday.

Dult time again

Those of you who have followed my blog for some time now already know all about the Auer Dult or Dult for short. The market takes place three times a year -- the last time is in October about two weeks after the Oktoberfest ends. By the way, just in case you want to see more Dult photos, be sure to click here. On the way to the fairground, I saw this car with the fancy robot:

I love to check out all the great Italian tableware.

The first signs of Christmas.

I was on the lookout for Halloween stuff, yet I only found these witch mugs. (I also looked for Tangled merchandise -- maybe a mug --, but I didn't find anything at all. Not even the German online Disney store sells Tangled mugs. *sigh*)

Lots of people were enjoying the sunny Sunday afternoon.

You walk from booth to booth and see the most interesting things.

I wish you could smell the heavenily scent of the roasted almonds.

Here you can buy handmade notebooks and albums. They are made from the bark of sycamores. I even found a YouTube video showing how the books are made.
