Pink Blossoms

Back in April I saw the most wonderful pink blossoms -- just perfect for Beverly's Pink Saturday.

Now in fall, orange is more dominant, so looking back to pink blossoms is an extra treat!

April Blossoms

Taking a walk in the spring, I love to see all the magnificent April blossoms.

That light pink and fresh green.

The blossoms which have already opened up.

So beautiful in the sunshine.

Everything looks so fresh and new.

It's definitely time to stop and smell the flowers.

The first lilac.

The majestic magnolia.

Happy Easter

Color on newspaper means one thing in spring...

... self-dyed Easter eggs!

Here are the Easter eggs on the breakfast table on Easter Sunday.

Look who came for breakfast.

The most beautiful tulips I saw this spring.

 

Of course, I also loved the tulips in the garden.

 

And the bleeding heart plant.

Spring Has Sprung

The fairytale cherry tree in the neighboring garden.

I really like these fringy tulips.

What a deep red.

 And that purple.

These flowers grew wildly on the lawn.

Blooming Tree

May brought a lot of rain, but there were also a few sunny days. Fortunately, I had my camera with me when I spotted this blooming tree in Ottobrunn.

Such a lovely shade of pink -- perfect for Beverly's Pink Saturday.

Even the sun made pink light rays -- how fun!

Wet May

When I think of May 2013, I think of rain.

 

Occasionally, there was a short rain break -- time to take photos of the lilac which I got from the neighbors.

White and purple lilac.

Gorgeous -- just think of the heavenly fragrance.

Then there was another rainy day. In the evening we had the most beautiful sunset though.

The sky seemed to be on fire.

The light was even reflected in dark windows.

The rain helped the plants to thrive.

The few sun hours were a delight.

The fern is as lush as ever.

Colorful leaves in the garden.

A bit of yellow between stones.

A bit outside Munich there's this beautiful field of tulips which you can buy.

I just had to take a few photos.

Never mind the mud I got on my shoes.

Really a lot of mud -- big time shoe polishing afterwards.

But the photos were worth the effort.

Glorious, beautiful tulips.

And a bit of sunshine, too.

Now summer can come -- bye to the fleece jacket and hello to a T-shirt!
