Finally, I get around to post some photos which I took in June. Red poppies -- perfect for Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday.
I love poppies -- such colorful accents in a field!
The day I took the photos below had started out with rain.
In the afternoon, the sun was shining though, and the flowers looked so pretty against the green field and blue sky.
An urban train passing by.
The ground was uneven and very muddy.
Nonetheless, I just had to take these photos.
The red was just shining.
A few sweet daisies among the poppies.
Happy flowers for sure!

The field of poppies in each photo just get more beautiful as I scroll down. I love the one where the little house in the background has the same color trim. and, the one that has the white flowers in the foreground makes the red really pop! beautiful R post.
ReplyDeleteI love poppies - along with daisys they are my favourite flower :)
ReplyDeleteNice shots
Poppies are just so gorgeous!! I love how intense and yet how delicate they are. And...I checked out your gummy bear posts - now I'm hungry for them again! I have to see if I can find those vampires here - often at our World Market stores, they have a big selection of different Haribo candies. Yum!! Hugs, Silke
ReplyDeleteOooh I love the intense red of poppies. And your pictures capture it beautifully. Just the other day I drove past a patch of them (I really thought it too late in the year, but there they were) unfortunately I could not stop to take a picture...
