The countdown to Christmas has officially begun now -- it's December 1st. So the big question is -- are you ready for the shiny season?
Except for my blog Advent calendar I have a special Advent calendar this year. It shows a lovely street scene painted by Thomas Kinkade and contains 24 semiprecious stones:
Behind door # 1 I found a chrysanthemum stone which stands for empathy. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my blog Advent calendar and come back for more from December 1st to December 24th.

I love the idea of a calendar with stones behind the doors. Of course, I do tend to collect rocks and crystals so this would just thrill me. Who knew something could be better than chocolate?
