F is for Flowers and From All Corners

May has been unusually hot and sunny -- it feels more like summer than spring. Thus lots of flowers are already blooming in the garden. Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday is perfect for showing some of them to you. Here's a pink geranium.

Sweet daises in the grass.

Another kind of geranium called "Wild Hilde."

A beautiful peony which was never planted -- probably a gift from some bird.

Delicate beauties in lilac.

A small rose.

Cape daisies.

Another stunning rose.

Pink roses.

The magnificent Leonardo da Vinci rose ...

... which looks incredibly full once it has completely blossomed.

Clemantis.

Another great rose.

I just love the form of this flower -- so many layers.

Pretty bellflowers.

F is also for From All Corners:

"A group of gals from all corners of the world sharing their photos on a chosen topic."

It would be lovely to welcome you at From All Corners, too. Below are my last two photos posted there.

Topic: Sky -- a photo from my balcony taken this May.

Topic: Sweet -- a treasured, sweet Christmas ornament.

  4. Those are truly "feel god" pictures. I particularly love the red rose with the yellow tinge and I wish I knew how those are called.

  5. Yikes, I meant "feel good" pictures. Maybe a Freudian slip? :D

  9. Great photos!! I live in the desert, and it would take way too much water to have flowers like those.

I was late posting for Alphabe-Thursday, but my offering is up now. Check it out!!
