Slowly but surely spring comes nearer. Pretty flowers and Easter decorations. Often enough my mind wanders to Japan though.
When I recently bought these two cute bunnies and the pink glass plate, I already had Beverly's Pink Saturday in mind.

Isn't the gerbera blossom just gorgeous?

Can you imagine a fairy taking a nap on those velvety petals?

Have you ever seen siamese twin blossoms ...

The new buds.

Finally, something really pink for your Pink Saturday delight --
my new Easter cactus.

Happy Pink Saturday!

ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love those lil bunnies - such fun they are!!
ReplyDeleteMy mind too keeps wandering back to the suffering in Japan. I can't help it - simple things that I just take for granted make me stop and think what the survivors are doing right at that very moment. I can't get my head around how they will move on from this. Its going to take enormous spirit.
I love those little bunnies!! I am your newest follower! I am a brand new blogger; therefore, I am just learning!! I hope you will come by to visit me sometime!!!

Your images are pure floral magic! I love the hot pink Easter cactus and I sure wish ours (which we call a Christmas cactus) would decide to bloom again. It teases us with tiny little buds only to watch them fall off one by one. You must have quite the green thumb!
ReplyDeleteHope all is well for you Birgit!
Hugs,
Joan :)
What a great post! Happy spring to you! I love your Pink cactus...We have had a good rain today, so the cactus here will be starting to flower and bloom any time now and when they do I hope to get a picture and post it for you!

Your photos of the pink gebera daisies and cactus are beautiful. Yes, I have seen Siamese twin flowers and stems before, but not often. Glad you enjoyed your Pink Saturday. :-)
ReplyDeleteSpring is sure taking its time to arrive here in Massachusetts. I have some daffodils that have opened up, but we are still getting snow.
Very pretty! I am a late visiter to the pink Saturdays this week...
