U is for University

Monsters University to be precise! I found this HUGE wallpaper in a passage to a movie theater in Munich's city center. Mons-terrific U for Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday!

Wizard Owl

It's that time of the year again -- owls are wearing wizard hats!

I am linking this to Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday -- W is for Wizard Owl!

Pink Shoes

For my birthday in July, I got pink shoes. Of course, I had to think of Beverly's Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday!

T is for Terms

Have you ever seen something like that? I bet it all started with a lot of brainstorming. Finally, these words were painted in really big letters on the building's side. It starts with "Terms like" (Begriffe wie).

Please don't ask me what all the terms mean. Any ideas on donut effect or smile design? It's an interesting, thought-provoking project though -- lots of terms for Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday!

Pink Peony

The most lovely pink peony ever! I took the photo in June with Beverly's Pink Saturday in mind.

Happy Pink Saturday!

S is for Sweet Wonderland

Have you ever wondered how Wonderland smells? Sweet, of course! I love the design of this shower gel  -- and it smells like chocolate. Sweet Wonderland indeed -- and a sweet S for Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday.

Pink Flowers

In June, I happened to see these beautiful pink flowers when I was running errands. Fortunately, I had my camera with me. Isn't this photo perfect for Beverly's Pink Saturday?

Happy Pink Saturday!

R is for Rose

Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday is always a great way to show you photos which I have wanted to share for a long time. Here is a photo from June showing the beautiful Da Vinci rose in my garden:

The rose has a wonderful shade of pink and velvety petals:

I took this photo during the blue hour on 21st of July. The light changes the appearance of the rose dramatically.

June Joys

June brought a lot of joys -- a fiery sunset.

Beautiful orange roses.

Cold drinks and reading entertainment (The Twelve by Justin Cronin).

A stunning, fairy-tale like rose bush.

Blooming bushes.

Hungry visitors.

Gorgeous lilies.

Amazing clematis.

Stickeez.

Another blooming bush.

The growing tomato plant.

Japanese marple bush.

Marple fruit.

Delicious cherries.

Tiramisu.

Needless to say that my June was joyful.

Blooming Tree

May brought a lot of rain, but there were also a few sunny days. Fortunately, I had my camera with me when I spotted this blooming tree in Ottobrunn.

Such a lovely shade of pink -- perfect for Beverly's Pink Saturday.

Even the sun made pink light rays -- how fun!

Happy Pink Saturday!

C is for Calla Lily

I can't believe that I missed A and B of the new round of Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday. In any case, here's my C -- Calla Lily!

I love the pink of the Calla Lilies as well as the white spots on the leaves.

Well, I can't resist presenting you my B is for Bubbles, too.

Mere water in the kitchen sink can be amazing.

Beautiful bubbles.

Finally, here's my A is for Advertising Column. This very advertisting column is in front of a movie theater near Isartor (Isar Gate) in Munich's city center. In fact, I had watched the movie Beautiful Creatures in that movie theater. Isn't the movie poster just elegant? The trees in the background just compliment the motif, don't they?

Bunny & Horse Wrangling

There's a new challenge at Mind Wide Open. Gail provided the image of two little girls with a bunny. Creating romantic art isn't really my thing, so I came up with a whimsical digital collage, imaging what one of the little girls -- Sofie -- would do later in life.

Sofie moved from wrangling Bunnies to wrangling Horses.

Butterflies

Oberpollinger is a department store near Karlstor (Charles' Gate) in Munich's city center. I love the current spring decoration of the building's facade -- colorful butterflies.

New Zealand Goodies

In May, I found a wonderful surprise in my mailbox from a faraway country -- New Zealand.

Isn't it wonderful to see one's name on the envelope?

I found a truly beautiful card inside -- just my style and colors.

And then this amazing keyring with many pretty charms.

Here you see the kiwi, New Zealand's national bird, and a sheep. Did you know that New Zealand has nearly 50 million sheep nowadays?

The silhouette of New Zealand, a coin with the words New Zealand and its Maori name Aotearoa, and the Silver Fern, New Zealand's national plant.

The Silver Fern again, Maori art, and the golden heart of Jeni from A Jeni Design -- the lovely lady who sent me this wonderful gift.

I love Jeni's signature -- and her artwork and photography is outstanding. Be sure to visit her blog. Jeni, thanks so much -- I love all these charms.
