Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday is always a great way to show you photos which I have wanted to share for a long time. Here is a photo from June showing the beautiful Da Vinci rose in my garden:
The rose has a wonderful shade of pink and velvety petals:
I took this photo during the blue hour on 21st of July. The light changes the appearance of the rose dramatically.

Very beautiful pics! I love photographing flowers, but haven't done much of that this year. I am eagerly looking forward to the rich autumn colors to capture digitally, though. Lovely "R" post!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms! Even before I read your description, I thought to myself oooh! That rose looks so "velvety soft"! and I love your photo of it in the blue hour too (To me, the rose looks like it is paper-wafer fragile).
ReplyDeleteBlessings & Aloha!
Stopping over through Ms. Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday "R"s.
