In August, I made an outing to Ebbs in Austria. It was the weekend of the flower parade. One of the figures showed the Queen of Austria -- the singer and drag queen Conchita Wurst.
So the Queen of Austria is my Q for Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday.

ReplyDeleteThe flowers remind me of our Tournament of Roses Parade which occurs before the Rose Bowl (college football) on New Year's Day -- there's a queen but she doesn't look like Conchita!!
ReplyDeleteThe individual flowers are beautiful, (but the queen is Quite ugly - sorry) and for having lived quite close to Pasadena where they have the Rose parade each year, I know that a flower show is an enormous event.
