I really love the Leonardo da Vinci rose bush in the garden.
When it fully blooms, summer has come.
That pink color, that splendor.
Such an abundance of beauty.
Who else dreams of being a fairy, so that you can sit on these flower petals, enjoying the sunny day?
I guess Leonardo would have been pleased that this beautiful rose was given his name. And I hope that Jenny from Alphabe-Thursday is also pleased to have this D post for her current alphabet round.

Or they are so beautiful. I don't have a green thumb with roses. But I love them and love photo's. Thanks for visiting my Elephant post on Letter E.

ReplyDeleteOh.
ReplyDeleteBoy.
I love these roses!
I used to grow so many of the antique varieties when I lived in Ohio.
Roses actually grow really well here in Arizona, too, but I never had luck with the antique varieties as much here.
Thanks for sharing your enchanting blooms. They are delightful!
Just beautiful.
Thanks for linking.
