J is for Jolly Roger

For Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday, I want to show you something special in my neighborhood. A couple of months ago, I noticed something black and white on a balcony in the distance.

When I came nearer, I wondered if maybe Jack Sparrow had bought a home in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Hey, wouldn't that be cool?

It's the Jolly Roger flag!

I have no idea if the owner is a Pirates of the Caribbean fan or if the flag has a completely different meaning. In any case, I think it's way cool.

  1. I have never seen anyone fly the Jolly Roger on land!! It does give me an idea, however. Maybe at Halloween I should turn my front yard into a pirate ship! "Arrgggh, matey!!" said Long John Silver.

I love your neighborhood. People really live in places like that? Lucky you!

  4. A pirate has to retire somewhere. It might as well be your beautiful neighborhood. Mine is too hot! ;)

  6. I love Tanya's comment!

After reading that, I'm at a loss for anything clever.

I think I'd have to go knock on the door.

    But I'm silly like that!

Thanks for the smile and the intriquing link this week.
