Orange heart

Look what I found in my mailbox today -- an wonderful orange soapstone heart!

Isn't the pattern just beautiful?

The heart is one of the prizes Denise from The Adventures of the Arrogant Frog and the Smug Beef offered during One World One Heart.

Thanks so much for the heart, Denise -- I love it! Thanks also for your sweet card. The saying on the card means: "You don't find out if a thing works by thinking about it -- you have to try it out."

In the meantime, I have found the perfect place for the heart. It's now lying next to the Halloween dog plushie I won in Las Vegas, NV a couple of years ago.

My OWOH winner Heidi can be on the lookout for a dinosaur skeleton.

Inside the package she will find this:

Glad you like the heart Birgit, it looks just right with the bear.
PS: I found your tutorial post, thanks for the tip on recuperating "black" photos (Saturday, November 20, 2010
    post).

I nearly always forget that you can use the "levels"- input/output curves to adjust the image - I use Photoshop too. The amount of "missed" photos I have deleted because I always forget this! Thanks for th reminder. The resulting photo that you show on the Pink Satrday post is perfect. So now a whole new aspect has opened up for me now, no more binning photos, see what can be done with them, they may be just right for a special effect.
