It's about time to participate in Jenny Matlock's Alphabe-Thursday again. I missed the letters from A to E, so for me the alphabet starts with F now -- quite creative, isn't it? Last week I watched some really fast squirrels on Munich's Waldfriedhof (Woodland Cemetery). It's challenging to take a photo of them. In fact, most photos end up looking like this one:

What did I say? Fast quirrel indeed -- I bet it's called Speedy. With some patience I managed to get a decent shot after all.

F is for Flash!
ReplyDeleteIt was windy here yesterday and I was trying to snap pictures of leaves flying in the air. Most of them are just a blur.
Have a great day! La
Great squirrel picture! I like the movement in the first snap!
ReplyDeleteHe/she is adorable! Looks a little like our ground squirrels we have here (except they're gray). Love their eyes!
ReplyDeleteSpeedy is adorable! Pictures of our hamster usually end up as golden blurs!
ReplyDeleteSpeedy is darn cute! wonderful pictures, i love the motion in the first photo!
ReplyDeleteYes, Speedy is cute! Great shot of that fast critter. So glad you made it for the Letter F. I bet you can make up ABCD&E with the Letter M for Missed. Just a thought! Thanks for visiting my Letter F for Friendship...good to hear that you have Fond memories of Texas...come back anytime!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly do have a fast squirrel. You should try photographing some of mine. They are fat and slow and sit around munching on my dog food all winter long!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like the Roadrunner in the old cartoon with his feet flying.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Speedy is definitely cute :) I'm surprised you managed to catch him in a moment where he wasn't running of to some place!
ReplyDeleteIs that a red squirrel? Soooo cute! And speedy, too!
ReplyDeleteSpeedy looks like he needed a short break! Love it! Anne
ReplyDeleteHaha. That is fun! What a great picture.
ReplyDeleteHe looks a lot like the FAST squirrel who lives in our yard! Speedy for sure!
ReplyDeleteThey can be so fast....until they're crossing the street in front of your car and pause halfway to consider their alternatives.
ReplyDeleteHe's certainly a cutie!
ReplyDeleteGreat action shot.
I always used to love squirrels. Right up until the time one chewed through my roof and left a big hole that ruined my kitchen ceiling.
ReplyDeleteEven worse, they are not covered under homeowners insurance because they are vermin.
Cute vermin, but vermin nonetheless.

PS. I still think they're cute out in nature. Just not in my trees!
O to have ears like that! (Tee~hee!)
ReplyDeleteOh wow you reminded me of our encounter with a squirrel . I love squirrels , they are really quite friendly critters . I should write about it actually .
ReplyDeleteHe or she's a little stinker. Cute!~Ames
ReplyDeleteSpeedy IS cute! When I try to photograph something moving fast, I usually end up with nothing--not even a blur.
ReplyDeleteHe is SO cute!!!!! I've never seen a squirrel like that. Lovely photos! Theresa
ReplyDeleteSo cute! They can be little devils can't they!
ReplyDeleteCute pics!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Anna

Anna's Alphabe-Thursday-F
Speedy is adorable!
ReplyDeleteAnd so was this post.
What a clever use of the letter F for Alphabe-Thursday!
Most of my pictures look all blurry like that...speedy or not!
Thanks for the smile.
