Pink Saturday at Munich's Botanical Garden

Welcome to another Pink Saturday organized by Beverly! Earlier this week I went to the Botanical Garden in Munich. Spring hasn't really come to Munich yet -- we even had more snow in the beginning of the week. Nonetheless, you feel that spring is just around the corner, even though the only flowers blooming outside were crocuses and snowdrops. Thus I spent most of the time in the extensive greenhouse complex. For Pink Saturday I put together photos of pink flowers, but if you are interested in seeing the whole thing, please be sure to come back in a couple of days -- especially if you like butterflies and turtles.

The colors of the various flowers were amazing --
almost too bright to be true.

One of the first greenhouse rooms houses the most wonderful orchids.
