Happy Halloween

Halloween evening brought the most wonderful sunset.

The sky seemed to be on fire.

The color scheme continued at home.

Crawly was delighted by the magic Halloween brought.

Time for trick or treat.

Eye ball chocolate.

Vampire teeth.

Sugar cookies.

I love the pumpkin shape.

A special treat -- Kinder Überraschung Maxi eggs.

The toys inside were two cute bat monsters.

They look great on my Halloween tree.

My Halloween pumpkins before...

... and ...

... after.

Here they are all lit up.

Flecki sleeping after all the Halloween excitement.

No more photos -- I am hiding my face.

All stretched out -- good night, all you witches and goblins and ghosts and wizards. See you next Halloween!

I hope your Halloween was magical!

Halloween Party

Finally it's time for Vanessa's Halloween Party!

http://afancifultwist.typepad.com/a_fanciful_twist/2014/10/halloween-party-2014.html

The bat invites the guests to the party at its favorite resting place -- a hauntingly beautiful gravestone.

The owl greets each one who enters the room.

The Halloween tree is lit up.

The pumpkins smile.

The ghosts glow with delight.

Keep Calm and Trick or Treat -- a wise advice.

Maleficent has come over for a short visit, too.

Of course, Ed has a place of honor. He was a gift from Pam from Yoborobo.

The bats have a sweet smile.

The raven watches closely as more guests arrive.

All is lit up for the occasion.

Owls are watching over the party.

The girls are dressed up for the occasion.

Jasmine and Rapunzel both opted for a witchy hat.

Pocahontas is more daring with a spider fascinator and Ariel thought a bit of pink would look great on her red hair.

Have a great Halloween party yourself and be sure to check out all parties over at Vanessa's!

Happy Halloween!

T is for Turbo

For Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday, you get to see more photos from the flower parade event in Ebbs, Austria which took place in August. It's Turbo, the hero of a DreamWorks Animation movie.

Turbo, a garden snail, gets the power of super-speed after a freak accident. That allows him to take part in a car race.

Haunted Humpday -- Spooky Oktoberfest

For Marfi's Haunted Humpday, I show you the darker side of Munich's famous Oktoberfest -- the facades of the different tunnels of horror and other spooky rides. First of all, there's the Ride to Hell (Fahrt zur Hölle).

Demon heads are watching you.

Grim expressions on their faces.

The reaper is ready.

This green demon is trying to grap you.

See what awaits you.

Those fangs.

Enter if you dare.

Not just a skull -- a spider, too.

Encounter is a new show about an alien.

I like the industrial, almost Steampunk look.

Shocker has a fleshy look.

The faces look quite alive.

A skeleton is riding on a bike back and forth.

Nightmares assured.

Höllenblitz (Hell's Lightening) is another ride.

There's so much to discover on the facade.

Another tunnel of horror which I remember from my childhood.

Those creatures like to seesaw.

A cute owl.

This Frankenstein Monster was part of my childhood nightmares. These days he is just standing there, but when I was a child, he walked over to the woman who bowed down in horror.

A devilish face.

The ride's exit.

Another Geisterbahn (ghost train).

A witch holding up a mushroom.

A dragon rider.

I hope you enjoyed this spooky Oktoberfest visit.

Happy Haunted Humpday!
